Course Outline

The Identification of Legacy Roadside Safety Devices program will explore common legacy hardware found throughout the Municipal and Provincial road network. Each device will be explored with respect to its design, crash worthiness, and site constraints based on industry research, simulation, and full-scale crash testing. The program will also review common roadside hardware deficiencies caused by weather, impacts, and age of the hardware.
