Course Outline
This program was created by our engineers, designers, and product specialists utilizing current research related to crash worthy products, hazard identification, and industry best practices. The course will review Ontario Provincial Standard Drawings/Specifications, Product Eligibility Status and the newly updated 2020 Roadside Design Manual. By the end of this course designers will have a better understanding of hazard identification, hazard protection, clear zone concept, deflection characteristics, and MASH crash worthy product eligibility.
Outcome
Greater awareness and understanding of roadside hardware design principles, best practices, and product/performance limitations.

Engineers, Designers, Consultants, Project Managers, and Municipal Staff.
